I believe I have vaginal herpes but I have no idea how I got it. I’m 58 years old and my husband and I haven’t had sex in several months. I have no other sex partner. I started getting the symptoms just a few days after I had an OBGYN appointment when the doctor examined me and tested me for cancer. I’ve never had any kind of sexually transmitted disease before in my life and I can’t figure out how I got this. Please explain. I’ve had cold sores on my lips before in the past that would occur when I got too much sun or when my immune system was down but haven’t had those in several years. Please help me to understand how I could possibly have vaginal herpes with no sexual contact with another person in over 5 months.

i encounter 2 days ago a pimple inside vagina just under the urethra. i am worried about it. what should i do ? its a yellow pimple .
