Firstly, there is osteoarthritis – which is the most common. This is a degenerative condition which involves damage to the cartilage – this makes the bones rub against each other. This causes friction, giving you pain and limiting your movement. Osteoarthritis is mainly age-related, it can be treated with natural therapy and some modification in lifestyle.

The second most common type is rheumatoid arthritis – which is the most debilitating form. It starts off as an ache in the joints – then builds its way to joint deformation. Therefore, your quality of life and routine tasks are severely compromise. It occurs more in women than in men, and the symptoms generally occur over a long period.

Then there is gout – another type, which causes severe pain and inflammation,it usually starts with the big toe. More men than women are affected by gout, but there is good news – gout can be controlled with natural remedies and modifications to the diet.

Gout is caused usually by excess urate crystals in a joint, or even in the surrounding tissue. The fourth and last most common type of arthritis is fibromyalgia – which is also called chronic muscle pain syndrome. It causes pain throughout the body, and is a chronic disease.Mainly, the tendons, ligaments, and muscles are affected.Fibromyalgia is not as severe as the other types of arthritis, one can still go about life normally, but a person may experience migraine headaches and depression. One can combat fibromyalgia by eating turkey, cheese, milk, bananas, bread, etc.
