In the second phase, the physical detoxification is required and the patient is told about basic nutrition so that their body may continue to be free of accumulated toxics and regain its momentum with a well balanced diet plan.
In the third and last phase, the patients undergo emotional detoxification and they also know about the
emotional reasons behind their drug or alcohol dependency and they find ways to keep them from reasserting their control.
