If you feel low when there is not enough warmth and sunshine, don’t reckon yourself alone in such a situation, as there are thousands of people who have to suffer from the short, dark and misty days of the winter.

However, the following tips can help you stay upbeat during the winter blues:

  1. Take part in some outdoor activity and sport like cross-country skiing and hiking as these activities help to get your heart pump that increases endorphins and affect positively on your mood.
  2. Don’t stay in the dark, let the light come. Sunlight can do wonders to get rid of depression. So try to go out of the house or office during the day hours as much as possible. It’s better to launch outside with friends and family.
