SUNDAY, April 20 (HealthDay News)—Allergies like sneezing, itchy eyes, blocking and sometimes asthma attack can resist the gardeners to take full pleasures out of their gardening pastime.

Allergist’s opinion

According to Dr. Warren Filley, an allergist/immunologist in Oklahoma City “Gardening outside during times of high pollen counts puts patients at risk for stern allergic indications,”

“Prevention as well as the use of drugs and allergy immunotherapy can make the difference between having fun in the garden and being depressed,” stated Filley who is also a gardener and has been facing allergies.

American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology

An allergist/immunologist can be helpful to find out which kind of plant is becoming the cause of allergies and can also advise Gardeners which time and season is suitable to work in the garden, it has been stated in American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI).
