Key Hormone to Restore Reproductive Cycle

A new research has discovered a hormone which could vitally serve as an efficient and less risky reproductive treatment. kisspeptin could restart the reproductive cycle of the women with low levels of sex hormones.

The therapy found of kisspeptin would efficiently re-awake the reproductive system by addressing the root problem successfully. Lack of this key hormone results in the sexual immaturity in humans and animals. Kisspeptin could be a key to stimulate the release of the hormones known to control the reproductive cycle, the researchers said.

In a former research scientists found kisspeptin treatment effective in manufacturing of sex hormones in fertile women. The new research focused it on the infertile women whom menstrual cycle had been shut down. Results of the blood samples from the women being injected or given a saline solution of kisspeptin were surprising. Levels of two vital hormones necessary for fertility and ovulation-follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinising hormone (LH) have been increased surprisingly.

Some Hot Tips from Hot Flush

Over the past decade, women’s health has emerged as a rapidly expanding field of scientific inquiry and knowledge with important implications for clinical practice. Women’s health can be viewed broadly as the study of the effect of sex and gender on health and disease that occurs across the spectrum of the biologic, behavioral, and social sciences.

Today I am going to study an important issue of women health- that is HOT FLUSH. Although hot flush can be found very occasionally in case of male.

It is not a disease actually; symptom of a disease – the compositions of some problems which raise out at the commencement of menopause (the cessation of menstrual cycle) and perimenopause (the junction between two time spans of the end stage menstruation and the cessation of menstruation). As we are just talking regarding menstrual cycle, you can understand this is a common feature among the women at their end stage of reproductive life. Excessive feelings of severe heat along with profuse production of sweat followed by fast pulse rate are common features.

Menopause

The term “menopause” is referred, as a complete stoppage of the menstrual cycle for more than one year.

It is also known as the end of fertility period of a woman which occurs at substantial length of time before the death.

In adult women, who have their uterus but are not conceiving or lactating, menopause can be identified with complete absence of menstruation for at least one year.

Conversely, women those have undergone uterus removal, postmenopause is identified with the high level of follicle stimulating hormone in their blood.

Onset of menopause

Menopause usually occurs roughly in the middle age and presents the vanishing fertility period of the woman’s life. However, it is not so easy to associate menopause with the permanent inhibition of the menstruation because the uterus changes are secondary factor, key factor is the ovarian changes.
