Is 7 to 8 hours of sleep really help to keep you in the thin zone?
Its not pumping iron of hours but proper hours on bed with a high-quality sleep can do more wonder in your efforts against obesity-Study shows the impact of long and short sleeping hours on obesity.
According to other researches in this connection, it has been found that lack of sleep is one of the causes of increasing weight but it is not clear yet whether sleep problems be the cause of weight gain or weight gain creates sleep problems.
To know which of the two related circumstances caused the other, Canadian researchers conducted a research on effects of people’s sleep patterns on their weight over a six-year period. In the study, it has been shown that those have more chances to become overweight who get six or less hours nightly sleep compared to those who spend eight hours in sleep.
Jean-Philippe Chaput, a preventive medicine specialist at Laval University in Quebec City,Canada who is lead author of the study concludes in this study “A good night’s sleep might be good for body weight.”
