Researchers find link between aggression and obesity in men
According to a new study, people, who are more aggressive, may get more lard than less aggressive people.
Dr. Hermann Nabi, the lead author of the study, says in this connection: “the more aggressive men are, the higher their body mass index (BMI) is and that’s what we find in the follow-up period of this study.” BMI is used to determine whether someone has normal weight, overweight, underweight or obese.
The researchers examined data on more than 6,484 men and women who were taking part in a UK study of health and socioeconomic status. All the participants of the study were in 35-55 years age range. They started with measuring normal scale aggressiveness at the beginning of their study. Their BMI was determined at four different points during 19 years.
