The Reasons of Giving Chemotherapy

Chemotherapy is suggested widely to treat some kinds of cancer, especially which can metastasize in other parts, because it invades all the cancerous cells present in the whole body. While other treatments only focus on the cancer cells at specific areas.

One can get easily confused and tricked by the emergence of abundant products for hair loss, both in men and women. Although hair loss is a natural phenomenon, which is associated with age, people, especially women use all means to keep up their appearances. According to an estimation, in U.S. 80 percent of men aged 35 to 65 years, suffer hair lose.

One of the most popular products, now a day available in market is Provillus. The following are the characteristics which had made it the best hair loss product.

Effective for both sexes

This product solves the problem for both, men and women separately. An essential ingredient Saw Palmetto, only found in men’s version (but not in women‘s version), could be potentially unsafe to unborn children.

Natural Remedy

Provillus aims to overturn the natural effects of hair loss, rather than providing temporary solution to the problem. Moreover, it attempts to do this, scientifically with natural ingredients. For natural hair loss, testosterone (a sex hormone) is responsible. This hormone when converted into dihydrotestosterone (DHT) and added to the enzyme 5-alpha reductase, ultimately cause atrophy of hair follicle causing thinning of hair, hair loss and stop the natural process of re-growth.

Researchers from England and Germany find some new genetic links to male pattern baldness.

Felix F. Brockschmidt, who is one of the authors of the study and a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Bonn, says: “This one is the second link to the kind of hair loss that a lot of men and women have to face with increasing age.” The study has been published online in the journal Nature Genetics Oct.12 issue.

“The first gene that we know about is found on the X chromosome and it is considered the most important for hair loss (alopecia) and the new locus that have just found would be the second most important,” Brockschmidt said.

“The findings would pave a new better way for genetic tests to single out men who may suffer hair loss as they age. The X chromosomes locus screening will prove helpful to show the risk of male pattern baldness in certain men.” He added
