A new research has been claimed by the scientists in United Kingdom. According to them, evidences have been found that human body is capable of producing SA. SA is the material that is formed when the body breaks down aspirin. It is very well known in its pain-relieving and inflammation effects. According to the study scheduled for the Dec 24 issue of ACS’ biweekly Journal of ‘Agriculture and Food Chemistry’, in a new class of bioregulators, SA may be the first.

In some previous findings, Gwendoline Baxter, Ph. D and his colleagues found that SA is an agent that comes from diet since it is immensely found in fruits and vegetables. Also, SA is found in the blood of those people who have not used aspirin recently. It was also found that the levels of patients taking low dose of aspirin matched with the levels of vegetarians.

diet intake or is it produced as a natural routine process. In the research process, volunteers were given benzoic acid which is found in fruits and vegetables. Benzoic acid is an agent that the body uses to produce SA. The study concluded that SA is produced in humans. It was also researched whether SA is produced in humans and other animals, as a result of a specific.

The team of researchers said “It is, we suspect, increasingly likely that SA is a biopharmaceutical with a central, broadly defensive role in animals as well as plants”. “This simple organic chemical is, we propose, likely to become increasingly recognized as an animal bioregulator, perhaps in a class of its own.”
